Halven van Damme

Chariel and Nico competeted yesterday at the semi triathlon in Damme. It was a very beautiful race and attracted a lot of high performing athletes. 

Although it was drizzling, the weather was excellent. The water was 21°C compared to a water temperature of 15°C last year.

Nico started with a very good swim, 38' for 2K of swimming, and did well on the next two parts as well! Finishing in 6 hours and 5 minutes is a nice performance on his semi triathlon!

Chariel has two main goals, the Belgian championship for Trail Running in two weeks and the Iron Man of Zurich next year, so this race was a good test for her. Finishing 5th in her category proves she is on fire!
